October – The Month of BBQ, Baseball and Technology Education at it’s Best!

Fall is finally here and at Lantana – we are staying busy.

This Thursday, October 4th,  Lantana is hosting the yummiest event of the year – our annual Fall BBQ! You won’t want to miss this. Special Avaya guests Vice President, John Spiliotis and Vice President of US Channels Karl Soderlund will be in attendance. It’ll be a great time to meet and mingle with the top Avaya execs as well as representatives from Zeacom and LifeSize.  Stop by our Arlington office between 1-4pm, fill your belly and talk some technology!

The fun doesn’t end with BBQ! Other October events to add to your calendar:

  • This weekend, Lantana will be heading to the ballpark to root on our beloved Texas Rangers in game one of the ALDS. Come cheer on the 2011 American League Champs with us!
  • Lantana will be exhibiting at the ACUTA Fall Seminar at booth #26 at the Hilton Americas in Houston, Texas from October 14-17thCoraid will be joining us, as well as Travis Cook from TCU, who will be around to speak to attendees about how Lantana helped in their latest technology upgrade.
  • The Houston Users Group is holding their annual all-day Technology Summit at the AT&T center on Tuesday, October 16th. As a sponsor of the event, Lantana has invited LayerX Technology’s President and CEO, Jeff Graham to present in front of the user group. He will be around our booth after to answer any questions users have. Be sure to stop by and say hi!
  • Last but not least, North Texas Avaya User Group members be sure to mark your calendars for the next meeting date: October 25th at 11am at the Omni hotel in Las Colinas. There will be talk on Avaya CM (and demo), as well as the most current CS1000 roadmap with Avaya approved Lync integration. It should be educational to say the least.
