Job Description:

The IT Systems Administrator, under direction of the Director of Operations is responsible for the internal IT infrastructure and applications used by Lantana employees as well as our customers. This individual must be able to manage the Lantana IT infrastructure and applications on their own without any assistance from others (vendor/contractor support is available in certain situations). This position is a mix between in office work, remote work, and onsite customer work. Applicant should reside in, or within 20 miles of the DFW Metroplex.

Job Duties:

  • Manage internal Lantana IT infrastructure and applications:
    • Microsoft 365
    • ConnectWise Manage
    • SSO for ConnectWise, 8×8, etc.
    • Domain certificates
    • Exchange emails
    • Domain whitelist/blacklist
    • SharePoint
    • Meraki Switches
    • Meraki Router
    • Active Directory (Azure/On-Premises Hybrid)
    • DNS Server
    • DHCP Server
    • Backups (workstation, OneDrive, email, servers, etc.)
    • Monitor network and resolve all network issues
    • Diagnose and fix any employee PC/application issues
    • Internal VMWare infrastructure
    • Various other tasks
  • Manage Lantana customers IT infrastructure and applications:
    • Switches
    • Routers
    • Network Assessments
    • Various other tasks
  • Commute to customer locations when necessary
  • Willingness to learn new products and procedures (self-starter)
  • Use of CRM system to manage tickets and time entries

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years as an IT Systems Administrator or similar position
  • Ability to handle most of the items listed above on your own
  • Must be willing and able to self-learn the things you don’t know
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel to customer locations when needed

Sales consultation, design, support, and management of customer activity involving B2B cloud telephony products & services.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role. 

Responsibilities

  •   Build and maintain client relationships by making telephone calls and presentations to customers, consistently adding new prospects and clients to funnel

  • Establish, maintain and develop business with customers and potential customers to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and services
  • Develop and maintain technical competency in all products offered through Lantana including all offerings from represented manufacturers as well as professional services supplied by Lantana

Manage and grow revenues on a group of 25 existing accounts with a focus on expanding recurring revenues from cloud and carrier services.  Prospect and acquire 2-3 new (Greenfield) accounts per quarter.

Starting salary: Salary ($50,000/yr) + up to $75,000 in commission, annually; medical, dental, vision & life coverage, 401K and PTO
